Explain, then advise
Nothing is prescribed or recommended before you understand why it is being suggested. Comprehension is part of the care.
Online Health Aid is an independent health guidance service. We help people understand what is happening in their body, get to the right care faster, and make their health insurance behave.
The idea came from a simple scene: someone leaving a clinic ten minutes later with a prescription, a folder of unread pamphlets and no understanding of what had changed. The appointment had been fine. The aftermath was the problem.
We started as three clinicians and one benefits adviser answering questions for friends and their families. The pattern was immediate — people did not need more information, they needed someone to sort the information they already had, then stay available while they acted on it.
Today we work with clients across general health, dental, skin, weight, joints, heart, hormones, memory and insurance problems. The scale changed; the original habit did not. Someone qualified reads every message and replies like a person.
That means understandable advice, a realistic plan, and someone accountable for the follow-up — regardless of what you can afford to spend on a private consultation.
Most serious illness is manageable when it is caught early and boring. We want early to be the normal, not the lucky case.
If your situation needs emergency care, a hands-on examination or a specialist we do not have, you hear that first — and help getting there second.
Nothing is prescribed or recommended before you understand why it is being suggested. Comprehension is part of the care.
We follow what holds up in practice, not what trends on social feeds. If the evidence is thin, we say it is thin.
Weight, hair, hormones, mental health, addiction, sexual health — none of it earns a lecture here.
We flag what something is likely to involve financially, including the insurance consequences, before you commit.
No portals to master, no call centres, no repeating your history three times.
A short message describing the symptom, result or letter. Dates, medications and what you have already tried help.
We explain the likely picture, what is worth checking, and what can safely wait. Questions are welcome.
Self-care, a review, a specialist, a screening plan — with help booking, preparing and writing your questions down.
Results, referrals and claims get chased. We review the outcome with you and adjust the plan.
The person who reads your message is the person responsible for the answer. No ticket-handling chains.

Policy wording, exclusions and appeals. Elena has reopened more denied claims than she can comfortably count.
We do not sell medications, guarantee diagnoses through a screen, replace your local emergency services, or accept commissions from insurers that would bias the plans we recommend. If you are in an emergency, call your local emergency number now — do not use this form.
Whether it is a symptom you cannot stop thinking about, a result you want explained, or an insurance letter that makes no sense — one message starts the process.
